School districts across Livingston County

Recording and county records. The deed is recorded with the Livingston County Register of Deeds at 200 E. Grand River Avenue in Howell, open weekdays 8:00 to 5:00, on 517-546-0270. The county's online portal lets you search recorded documents by name, document type or date range without charge for a basic lookup, and staff will search by grantor, grantee, parcel identification number or legal description at the counter. The fee is $30 per document, set by state statute and inclusive of the remonumentation and automation charges rather than added to them.
